Stolen car and items recovered in Desert Hot Springs

Two men are in jail after stealing various items, including a car, from a home in Desert Hot Springs.

Police say 23-year-old Jordan Bowyer and 26-year-old Raymond Stoker were trespassing at a pool on the 12100 block of Skyline Drive around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.

When officers arrived they found a vehicle, which was reported stolen a day earlier out of Palm Springs, parked in the driveway. Officers found items in the car that were also reported stolen.

Stoker and Bowyer were located in the back of the property on Skyline Drive and were arrested.

Both were on probation, and one was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

They were booked into the county jail in Banning.
