Healthy Desert, Healthy You: Local podcast exploring valley health and wellness

A local podcast is taking a closer look at the health issues affecting the Coachella Valley.

Healthy Desert, Healthy You, produced by the Desert Healthcare District and Foundation, features local experts. The podcast was launched following the Healthy Desert Healthy Environmental Health Summit back in September 2024.

Topics include environmental health, food insecurity, mental health care, and community resilience.

"It's all about raising awareness about the health and wellness services that are available in the valley, um, that you can benefit from as a resident, but also that you can support. We recently added a video component which I'm excited about and also Spanish subtitles," said Will Dean, director of communications and marketing.
