Cathedral City Power Outage

Southern California Edison is still trying to get power back to some customers in Cathedral City and Palm Springs. At one time 12-thousandhomes and businesseswere without power. It started in Cathedral City near East Palm Canyon and Date Palm just before seven this morning. Crews say that approximately 100 commercial customers are still without power. Southern California Edison says that power should be back on around for everyone later today.
