Show you Care’s primary goal is to motivate the public to take a proactive role in community issues and to help meet the needs of the people in our Coachella Valley. KESQ NewsChannel 3 and our sister station KDFX FOX 11 created “Show You Care” so we and our local sponsors can inspire Coachella Valley residents to take action and address current community needs. As the Number 1 station for news in the Coachella Valley, KESQ NewsChanel 3 is certain that together, we can do just that.

The growth in the Coachella Valley is evident and welcome. However, as the Valley grows, the needs of its residents grow too. Our coverage of local events and causes has motivated thousands of Coachella Valley residents to give of themselves for their community. We inspired Valley residents to help collect food for the needy with the Hearts Across the Valley campaign, to participate in the Heart Walk, Relay for Life, Desert AIDS Walk, Lauren’s Run, Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, Women Running Wild,Children’s Discovery Museum – Duck Pluck and Toys For Joy. We helped our fellow residents become better informed and proactive with the promotion of Desert AIDS Project’s HIV Testing Day, Friend to Friend Breast Cancer Screening, CMT Awareness, American Diabetes Association, The Steve Chase Awards, People Who Care Awards, Read To Lead and to contribute nearly one million dollars toward Coachella Valley Schools with our Desert Sampler Event.

In 2003 and beyond our “Show You Care” sponsors, KESQ NewsChannel 3 and KDFX FOX 11 will continue to encourage and inspire people to take action to help people in need. We all have an obligation to care about the people of our Valley and we invite you to send us your comments, events or community need by filling out the form on this page!

Working together for a better Coachella Valley…
