Pictures Of Rancho Mirage Bank Robber Released

A man who robbed a bank branch inside aRancho Miragesupermarket was at large Tuesday, authorities said.

The holdup occurred about 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Bank of America branch inside Albertsons, 40101 Monterey Ave., according to Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

When officers arrived, the man had already fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Valenzuela said.

The suspect appeared to be in his 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with the Cleveland Indians baseball team logo, a long-sleeve red-and-white checkered shirt and dark sunglasses, authorities said.
