Virtual Vietnam Memorial Hits The Internet
(AP) – The National Archives and a Web site are teaming up to put the records of Vietnam War veterans online for the first time.
The site is an online re-creation of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall in Washington D.C.
The site allows access to thousands of pages of casualty records and agency photos.
The database can be searched by name, hometown, birthdate, tour date or dozens of other categories.
