Body Discovered In I-10 Wash Near Indio
Investigators from the coroner and sheriff’s department were called Sunday to investigate the reported discovery of a body in a wash next to Interstate 10 about eight miles east of Indio, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The reported body was clad in a black shirt and black pants, laying on its back in a wash just east of the Sunny Gulch rest area, a CHP dispatcher said.
The body discovery was first reported by the CHP at 12:56 p.m., according to the CHP. Coroner’s and sheriff’s investigators were requested at 1:36 p.m.
