Sheriff’s Deputy Shot In The Face In Desert Hot Springs

Just before 10:00 PM Friday night, a Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot in the face in the area of Camino Campanero and Avenida Florencita, just south of Desert Hot Springs.

An officer took the wounded deputy to Desert Regional Medical Center trauma unit.

His condition is not known at this time.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is working with Desert Hot Springs police, Palm Springs, Indio Police, Cathedral City K-9 Units, and CHP to find two suspects.
