TRAFFIC ALERT FOR DECEMBER 19

The onset of the latest winter storms Wednesday has flooded several roads. Here are the latest road closures in the area:

Jefferson Street northbound, between Fred Waring Dr. and Country Club, will be closed until 12 noon Friday. Ave 44 at the Whitewater wash Country Club west of Ave 42

Roads and intersections open as ofFriday evening:

Hwy 74 between Paradise and Palm Desert. Tire chains are required on vehicles to traverse Hwy 74. Cathedral Canyon at the wash Vista Chino at the Wash Highway 341 and Highway 243 Dune Palms and Adams at the wash in La Quinta Hwy. 111 at Monroe in Indio Jefferson Street southbound, between Indio Blvd. and Fred Waring Dr. Gene Autry Trail at the Wash Avenue 50 at the Wash.
