Motorist Identified In Deadly Indian Wells Crash
INDIAN WELLS- A motorist killed when his Toyota Prius crashed into a guard rail in Indian Wells, trapping him inside, was identified Tuesday as a 63-year-old Palm Desert resident.
Victor E. Leon died at the scene of the crash, which was reported at 1:06 p.m. Monday on Miles Avenue near Highway 111, said Cal Fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.
An autopsy is scheduled for today, a coroner’s official said.
