Well-Known Indio Bar Open After Arson Fire

After an arson fire and months of reconstruction, a well-known Indio bar opened its doors to the public for the first time Friday night.The popular joint, Neil’s Bar is asking customers to come back for the first time since the arson fire in April.

The bar owner tells News Channel 3 the firecouldn’t have happened at a worse time.While the Indio Police are still looking forthe arsonist who they say caused $100,000 dollars in damage, the owners are ready for business.

The new updated security cameras are better than ever according to patrons. The arson fire not only damaged the property but 15 employees were without jobs and the closure cost the owners $200,000 in revenue.
