NORTH SHORE – A 52-year-old man, who lost control of a vehicle that overturned and crashed into a mobile home in North Shore, died Wednesday, but no one in the trailer was hurt.

Darrel J. Schaumleffel of North Shore was declared dead at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday on 70th Avenue near Windward Drive, which is near the north eastern edge of the Salton Sea, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

Schaumleffel was not wearing a seat belt when he crashed about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, the coroner’s office reported.

An adult and three children in the trailer were unhurt, but they were displaced from their home, Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department said.
