Police Hunt For Attack Victim’s Ex-Husband

CATHEDRAL CITY – Detectives are using Monday to searchfor a man accused of breaking into the home of his ex-wife and then violently attacking her.

It happened just before 8:30Friday morning on the 69100 block of Converse in Cathedral City.

Officers say 36 year-old Manuel Gambino broke into the home of his ex-wife, dragged her to a room, and attacked her. He managed to get away before police arrived.

The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Gambino is described as being 5 ft. 7 in., 198 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a shaved head and a goatee and is considered armed and dangerous.
