Man Arrested For Holding Ex-Girlfriend Hostage

LA QUINTA – A Palm Desert man is behind bars, today, accused of holding his ex-girlfriend against her will at her home.

Joshua Hill, 29, is accused of violating a restraining order, coming to the woman’s home, and holding her hostage of three days.

He’s also accused of assulating and robbing her earlier today. He was arrested on charges of false imprionment, spousal battery, robbery, kidnapping, and disobeying a court order.

The victim was provided with an emergency protective order and a bail enhancement was also leveled against Hill, who was to be booked in the Indio Jail.
