Surveillance Photos Of Thermal Robbery Show Suspect
THERMAL -Riverside County sheriff’s deputies today made public an image of a robber who held up a market in Thermal, along with an accomplice.
The robbery at the Apple Market at 56492 Highway 111 was reported at 9:58 a.m. Friday, said Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela.
One of the suspects, who was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandana, was caught on surveillance video.
One of the robbers used a stun gun on a clerk, then ordered everyone onto the floor, Valenzuela said.
The robbers took an undisclosed sum from the cash register and some lottery tickets, she said. They also robbed a male customer, Valenzuela said.
The robbers, who fled on foot, were both thin and about 5 feet 10 inches, she said. Anyone with more information about the crime was asked to call the sheriff’s Indio station at (760) 863-8990.
