Armed Robber Arrested After Hitting Coachella Market
COACHELLA – A man armed with a knife held up a convenience store in Coachella, this afternoon.
The store clerk tells police it happened around 12:30pm at the Super Rancho Market at 6th Street and Vine in Coachella.
The man left the store heading north, and was spotted by neighbors who called authorities. He was arrested a short time later on3rd Street.
Nineteen-year-old Ricardo Gonzales was taken to the Indio jail, and booked for robbery.
