50 Car Pileup In White-Out Conditions In Pennsylvania
JOHNSTOWN, Penn. – CNN is reporting as many as 50 cars may have been involved in a multi-vehicle collision onInterstate 80 today as white-out conditions blinded some drivers.
At least 15 people have been transported to local hospitals.
The interstate is completely shut down because of the accident, and the Department of Transportation expects to re-open it by 6pm EST.
Johnstown is about 65 miles east of Pittsburgh.
The blizzard is moving east, and is expected to hit New York City and Washington, D.C. next.
