Man Accused Of Attacking His Girlfriend In Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS -A Corona man is out of jail on bail,today, accused of attacking a former girlfriend in Palm Springs.
Police say Victor Negrete broke into the woman’s apartment off Tahquitz Canyon, unplugged her phone, then waited for her to return.
He then dragged her inside the apartment by her hair, kicked her several times, then took-off when a neighbor heard her screams.
Police arrested Negrete near his home a short time later.
He was booked on a number of charges, and is now free after paying $50,000 bail.
