Pop Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen Dead At 40

LONDON-British celebrity fashion designer Alexander McQueen has died.

McQueen’s rep says he was found dead at his London home Thursday morning, but wouldn’t comment on the manner of death.

Various other media reports state the forty-year-old designer committed suicide.

Police in London only say they will perform an autopsy and that his death is not being treated as suspicious.

McQueen’s death comes just days before London Fashion Week, even though he was not scheduled to show there.

McQueen’s designs are popular on the red carpet in Hollywood.

Celebrities like Sandra Bullock, Anna Paquin, Rhianna and Cameron Diaz have all sported the designer.
