Police Hope Surveillance Images Help Find Robber

COACHELLA -Coachella police want your help finding an armed robber they say held up a market in Coachella on Monday.

Police say a surveillance camera caught the man entering the “Los Compos” market on the 1200 block of Sixth Street in Coachella.

Officers say he tried to leave the store with a case of beer without paying.

When the clerk tried to stop him police say he showed a handgun.

Cameras also caught the suspect’s getaway vehicle, a late-model, white Ford F-150 truck.

Officers later searched the area for the truck, but couldn’t find it.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
