Abandoned Home Burns In East End Of Coachella Valley
VISTA SANTA ROSA – The Riverside County Fire Department is investigating a fire that burned inside an abandoned home Saturday afternoon.
The fire was reported just after noon near the corner of Park Lane and Avenue 58.
Fire crews reported seeing a home engulfed by flames. The fire was contained within half an hour, and fully controlled by 1:15 p.m.
Fire officials say the 1,200 square foot home was either abandoned or condemned.
No one was injured, and no other buildings were threatened by the fire.
The cause remains under investigation.
