Expect Traffic Headaches In Palm Desert
PALM DESERT -A traffic mess continues in Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert, today.
Crews are closing down Frank Sinatra Drive between Portola and Bob Hope.
It’s for work that was originally set for yesterday but delayed until today because of the weather.
Gerald Ford Drive will be closed between Portola Avenue in Palm Desert and Bob Hope Drive in both directions all day, restricted to local traffic only.
During intersection paving, Monterey Avenue will be open; however, lane restrictions will occur.
Traffic delays should be expected and alternative routes are recommended.
This project is identified as a Measure A – CVAG regional transportation project and is a joint agency project with the City of Palm Desert.
