Police Find Body Burning In A Redlands Field

REDLANDS -Redlands Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was discovered in the midst of a reported vegetation fire late Tuesday night.

Redlands firefighters received a call of a vegetation fire in a field near the intersection of Wabash Street and Reservoir Road at about 11:30 p.m.

As firefighters doused the blaze they discovered burned human remains.

Investigators have no identification on the remains at this point.
