Six Men Arrested For Coachella Valley Burglaries

COACHELLA -Six Coachella men were arrested in connection with an investigation into a residential burglary and several vehicle burglaries in southern Coachella Valley, a sheriff’s sergeant said today.

The arrests came after deputies from the Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District served a search warrant around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 52000 block of Shady Lane, said Sgt. Mike Tapp of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The arrested suspects were identified as:

— Juan Carlos Davila, 26, on a felony narcotics warrant;

— Marcos Padilla, 41, for a parolee-at-large warrant;

— Jose Luis Hernandez, 48, on a narcotics warrant;

— Oscar Mario Gonzales, 56, for possession of methamphetamine;

— Raul Villarreal, 42, on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs; and

— Juan Pantaleon, 42, for possession of cocaine.

Stolen property was recovered, along with several car stereos believed to be stolen, Tapp said.
