Police Investigate Assault

Police are searching for at least one suspect accused of committing assault with a deadly weapon in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 56-600 block of Polk Street in Thermal at 1:15 A.M., according to Herlinda Valenzuela of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Valenzuela said there were at least two victims of the assault, though it is unknown if they were injured in the assault.

The Sherrif’s Department has not released any information about the suspect/s, or the type of weapon used in the attack.
