Police Arrest Two Teens For Burglary; Items Missing

Desert Hot Springs Police have detained two teenagers accused of walking into a home and stealing electronic equipment.

The teens’ names aren’t being released because of their age. One was transported to Juvenile Hall, and the other was released to his parents.

Police say they walked into an unlocked home in Desert Hot Springs on April 9, and took several thousand dollars worth of video players and games (Playstation, X-box, Wii), cameras, i-phone equipment, cell phones, HP laptops and other assorted items.

Most of the items are still missing, and police think it may have been distributed to friends. If you believe your son or daughter may have some of it, call Desert Hot Springs police as soon as possible. Police say people who do not contact police, and have some of the items will be arrested.
