Semi Truck Carrying Cattle Overturns On Interstate 10
A semi truck carrying 160 cattle on board overturned on the 10 Freeway Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 2:30 Thursday afternoon in the city of Redlands near the University Avenue off ramp. According to initial estimates, about 70 cows are expected to survive.
CHP had closed the two right lanes and the two left lanes were open as the cleanup began.
The best alternate route is to try the 60 freeway eastbound through Moreno Valley toward the 10 freeway.
Another alternate route is to exit off Redlands Boulevard to avoid the massive backup on the 10 freeway.
