Fire Damages North Palm Springs Home

An early-morning fire in North Palm Springs caused $15,000 in damage to a single-family home, Riverside County fire investigators said.

The fire was first reported at 3:17 a.m. Friday at a home on Sanborn Street at Thumb Drive.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from the outside of the home, with flames visible through the front door.

Crews contained the fire within 20 minutes, and no injuries were reported.
