First Licensed Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens In Palm Springs
Palm Springs’ first licensed medical marijuana dispensary opened today.
CannaHelp, which received one of two allotted permits under the city’s medical cannabis ordinance, will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Owner Stacy Hochanadel fought long and hard for the opening.
“It’s a profound day,” Hochanadel told the media. “We finally got there.”
About a dozen patients visited the dispensary at 505 E. Industrial Place in the first two hours it was open, the website reported.
The city’s second licensed dispensary, Desert Organic Solutions, is expected to open by the end of the month.
