“Quit Facebook Day” – Are You Quitting?

It was just a few weeks ago, and people were irate over Facebook privacy policy. So much so that a movement was spawned – urging people to get rid of their Facebook accounts altogether.

But “Quit Facebook Day” may come and go without many people noticiing.

One reason for this, says Time Magazine, is the recently re-vamped privacy safeguards Facebook put into place. Actually, this just happened last week.

One of the complaints about the previous safeguards were people all over the internet could track you down if they see you “Like” something on a sponsor page.

While the number leaving Facebook is expected to be small – some estimates put it at 2% – Facebook still listened when consumers lashed out at them.
