Jeremy London’s Family Can Express Doubt About Palm Springs Kidnapping

Former “Party of Five” star Jeremy London’s family can continue to express doubts about his claim that he was kidnapped and by two men and forced to take drugs in Palm Springs, a judge ruled today.

London, 37, claims the men abducted him last month, and Brandon Adams, 26, is in custody in connection with the alleged kidnapping.

But Adams says London went willingly with him and another man and took Xanax and Ecstasy before they dropped him off at his hotel.

London’s mother, Deborah Nielsen, and his twin brother Jason and his girlfriend have said they don’t believe the actor was kidnapped, and on Wednesday London filed papers seeking an injunction to stop them from further talking to the media.

But Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Irving Shimer said there was no emergency basis for granting the order and that London has other options, including filing a lawsuit for slander.

London’s lawyer, Catherine R. Lombardo, said the case is not over despite today’s setback and that another hearing with testimony will be scheduled before a different judge.
