Two More Arrests In DHS Murder Case

Two more teens are behind bars this morning in connection with a murder in Desert Hot Springs, last month.

That brings the total to eight people behind bars for the june 13th stabbing of 23-year-old Jose Villalobos.

The arrests come after a search yesterday in the area of Palm Drive and Cahuilla Avenue for one of the suspects.

Detectives weren’t able to catch up with the teen they wanted, but they say he turned himself into the Riverside County Juvenile Hall last night.

Also last night, the second suspect was arrested at a local Carl?s, Jr.

The other six teens charged in this case are being tried as adults.

Police say this is still an active investigation and they anticipate more arrests.
