12-Year-Old Shoots Self; Investigators Wait For Brother’s Autopsy

San Bernardino County investigators announced Thursday a 12-year-old boy suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, resulting in his death.

Bryan Gonzalez was found dead alongside his 10-year-old brother Christian on Tuesday behind their home in Chino Hills.

The death of Christian remains undetermined for now as investigators are awaiting additional results from forensic tests that were conducted. There were no signs of abuse found.

Investigators say the gun retrieved at the scene belonged to the boys’ father Francisco Gonzalez.

So far, no charges have been filed.
