3.1 Earthquake Rattles South Of Salton Sea

An earthquake measuring 3.1 in magnitude rocked an area south of the Salton Sea on Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 4:23 p.m., and was centered 8 miles southeast of Ocotillo, 14 miles southwest of Seeley.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
