Bicyclist Killed In Palm Springs Crash

Police are investigating an early-morning crash in Palm Springs that killed a bicyclist.

Authorities said a car hit the bicyclist at about 6:30 a.m. on Palm Canyon Drive near Overture Drive.

The rider of the bicycle died at the scene. The victims name has not been released.

Police said the driver of the vehicle pulled over and cooperated with officers.

The roadway was closed all morning during the investigation. It was reopened at about 1 p.m.
