Pool Truck Crash Forces Closure Of Hovely Lane

A hazardous materials team was called in and a section of Hovely Lane East was shut down Thursday morning after an accident involving a truck carrying pool chemicals, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The road was shut down at 7:15 a.m. from Indian Ridge Drive to Oasis Club Drive.

The hazardous materials team was cleaning up the pool chemicals off the roadway, which included chlorine.

One person suffered minor injuries in the accident.
