Cathedral City Police Investigate Shooting
Cathedral City Police are looking for a the person or people who reportedly tried to carjack a driver’s Honda Accord on Thursday night, and shot him in the leg.
The incident happened at 8:08 p.m., according to Cathedral City police.
Officers responded to the corner of Dinah Shore and Date Palm to find a man shot in the leg.
The victim told police that he was shot by two Hispanic men driving a dark colored late model Ford. They did not manage to steal the man’s car.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is assisting Cathedral City Police in trying to find the suspect vehicle.
