Five Arrests Made In Coachella Valley Car Theft Ring

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies arrested five people on Thursday as part of an on-going investigation into a car theft ring in the Coachella Valley, according to Sergent Jeronimo Contreras.

Three search warrants were issued on Thursday. Deputies searched one location on the 85000 block of Via Tepeyac in Coachella, another on the 51000 block of Tyler Street in Coachella, and one more on the 85000 block of Middleton Street in Oasis.

As a result, five people were taken into custody:

Jesse Diaz, 20, from Coachella faces charges of vehicle theft, conspiracy and possession of stolen property.

Roman Lopez, 20, from Coachella was arrested for vehicle theft, conspiracy and possession of stolen property.

Alejandro Gamboa, 27, from North Shore was arrested for a felony parole violation warrant.

Jennifer Reta, 19, from Coachella faces possible felony narcotics charges.

Veronica Munoz, 21,from La Quinta was arrested for for resisting arrest.

All five were booked in the Indio Jail.
