Concert Held to Benifit Family of Norma Lopez
A benefit concert was held Saturday for the murdered Moreno Valley teenager Norma Lopez.
The 5 hour concert was held at Moreno Valley College. Some of the bands performing included P.O.D. and Alien Ant Farm.
Proceeds from the event went to the family of Norma Lopez.
One organizer said, “I felt that we had to do something besides the normal carwash to raise awareness … because when something like this happens, not only is the family hurt, the community hurts.”
Back in July, the 17 year old girl disappeared on her way to a friend’s house after summer school.
Her body was found five days later in a remote field.
No suspects have been arrested in the case.
