Police Look For Shooting Suspect

Police said they were searching for a Salton City man who shot his brother overnight.

The shooting occurred just after midnight on Saturday.

Sheriff’s investigators said 24-year-old Aaron Rivas got into a fight with his brother.

Police said Rivas picked up a shotgun and shot his brother in the leg before speeding off in a car.

That car was later found by detectives, but Rivas was nowhere to be seen.

The victim was taken to John F. Kennedy Hospital with moderate injuries. He was expected to be OK.
