Desert Hot Springs City Manager To Enter Rehab

Desert Hot Springs? city manager is on medical leave after announcing he is entering a rehab facility to deal with alcoholism

Assistant City Manager Jason Simpson confirmed that Rick Daniels told the city council on Tuesday that he is voluntarily entering a alcohol treatment program to deal with what he called his alcohol abuse.

Daniels hopes to return to work in a month.

Meanwhile, Simpson and the city’s police chief Patrick Williams will manage Daniel’s responsibilities.
