Four Men Arrested In Connection With Palm Desert Home Invasion

Four men were arrested Monday evening, connected to a home invasion robbery that locked down three local schools, according to police.

The crime happened on the 42000 block of Iowa Street on Monday around 11 a.m.

The residents inside the home woke up to find several men wearing dark clothing and Halloween masks and making demands.

Some of the residents were beaten with a crowbar, and one suffered several cuts when he struggled with one of the men and fell onto a glass table.

One of the residents escaped, and called for help.

Later Monday evening, police arrested 24-year-old Joshua Holtz.

Overnight, police made three more arrests: Richard Carrasco, Jr., 33, of Bermuda Dunes; Jeremy Young, 29, and Jeremy Ketchum, 31, both of Palm Desert.

Ketchum was arrested at the Motel 6 on Varner Road in Palm Desert.

All of the men face charges of robbery, burglary, conspiracy and kidnapping with the intent to commit robbery.
