Cathedral City Police Officer Under Investigation For Misconduct
The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office is investigating a case of alleged officer misconduct involving a Cathedral City police officer.
The alleged incident happened early Wednesday morning when police were alerted to alleged behavior.
Due to the nature of the complaint, the Cathedral City Police Department contacted the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office to conduct a criminal investigation into the allegation.
This incident is currently under criminal investigation.
As a routine matter, the officer involved in this incident has been placed on administrative leave pending the results of the criminal and internal investigations.
