Abandoned Indio Home Catches Fire A Second Time
Fire crews responded to a structure fire around 12:14 a.m. Monday. The abandoned, single-family home located at the 45-800 block of Arabia St. was fully engulfed by the time they arrived at the scene.
Neighbors said the home had been deserted for at least seven months, after the first fire occurred.
Five engines and one ambulance came to the scene. Firefighters extinguished the early morning blaze at 12:36 a.m.
No injuries to report.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
