Eastbound Lanes Of Interstate 10 Shut Down This Week

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 will shut down beginning at 11 p.m, tonight, and will re-open at 6 a.m., according to Cal Trans workers.

The shutdown is part of the project to build a new overpass at Bob Hope Drive in Thousand Palms that will replace the existing overpass of Ramon Road.

Motorists will be required to exit the freeway at night for this week at Date Palm Drive and re-enter the interstate at Ramon Road.

The series of closures will continue through Thursday night.
