Suspected Convenience Store Thieves Pulled Over In Palm Springs

A convenience store was robbed today in Cabazon, and three suspects were quickly taken into custody, a sheriff’s deputy said.

The robbery was reported at 11:45 a.m. at the am/pm store in the 13000 block of North Fern Street, said Deputy Melissa Nieburger of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspects were pulled over a short time later on Vista Chino in the Palm Springs/Cathedral City area, Nieburger said.

The suspects were identified as Cindy Palomino, 25, Paul Alvarado, 18, and a 17-year-old boy, all of Desert Hot Springs, she said.
