The accident happened about 9:20 a.m. on the transition from the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway to the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, according to the CHP.

The truck driver, in his 40s, was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, said Long Beach fire Capt. Jackawa Jackson.
