Palm Springs Police Search For Copper Thief
Police in Palm Springs combed an area around the Desert Fashion Plaza on Thursday morning looking for the person who cut a large amount of copper wire.
The bags of copper wire were found on the roof around 6:30 a.m. by a security guard.
Police searched the immediate area for any sign of the person who may have been responsible for the theft. A California Highway Patrol helicopter was even brought in to assist in the search.
