KESQ confirmed on Wednesday that Cathedral City Police Chief Stan Henry is retiring.
According to City Manager Don Bradley, the Police Chief made the announcement at a meeting a few months back.
Henry will retire mid-December.
Bradley said he is now considering what steps to take to replace the position Henry.
“Henry has served the community for almost 30 years” said Bradley “He has served it well.”
