Results Of Gay Sex Sting Investigation Slow In Being Revealed

News Channel 3 is still waiting for results of the internal investigation into last year’s gay sex sting in Palm Springs.

We first broke the story in June when we learned a Palm Springs police officer used a gay slur during the sting.

Police Chief David Dominguez started the investigation, but the city attorney took it over when he learned the chief was there when it happened, and allegedly made inappropriate comments.

There haven’t been any updates on this case since September.

The city attorney now tells News Channel 3 he is in the middle of his review, and hopes to have it wrapped up by the end of the year; however, office confidentiality and other police sensitivities are making it difficult.
